About us
Tennis for All was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that every child deserves the opportunity to discover the game of tennis, regardless of their socioeconomic background.
It all began when Aisha asked a simple question - “Why don’t more kids play tennis?”. After a bunch more questions it turned into community-based effort in Austin, Texas. We’re quickly growing into a regional movement across Central Texas, with aspirations of expanding nationwide.
At its core, Tennis for All exists to remove the barriers—economic, geographic, and social — that prevent many children from accessing the sport.
Tennis can be transformative, building not just athletic skill, but also confidence, discipline, resilience, and a lifelong sense of purpose. Yet, for too many families, the costs of equipment, coaching, and access to courts are simply out of reach.
We’ve built a sustainable, community-driven model to change that. Through partnerships with local tournaments, we collect and sell one-time-used tennis balls that would otherwise go to waste. The funds raised are reinvested directly into programs that introduce kids to tennis—covering everything from equipment and court time to peer-based coaching and professional coaching.
We also accept donations of new and gently-used tennis gear, ensuring that no child is left behind for lack of a racket or pair of shoes. Our volunteer network includes experienced coaches who donate their time to train and mentor kids with exceptional potential. You can donate money and the donation process and our spend is completely transparent.
Tennis for All thrives on collaboration, and we are actively seeking partners to help us grow. We’re inviting student volunteers, tournament directors, tennis clubs, schools, and donors across Texas and the U.S. to join our mission. Whether it’s helping organize equipment drives, coaching at clinics, or hosting awareness events, every contribution makes a difference. With your support, we can not only introduce thousands of children to the game—we can give them a pathway to become athletes, leaders, and role models in their communities.
